Speaking of food, I just had the Ultimate Upper-Middle-Class Woman Sandwich: Swiss cheese; sauteed portobello mushroom; red and yellow pepper marinated in balsamic vinegar, garlic, and rosemary; lettuce; and guacamole. All I needed was some sundried tomatoes, pomegranate, and plain yogourt to make it complete.

(I looked at dad's hairline more closely...I think this portrayal is more accurate than yesterday's, but it probably still needs some work)

MO:R COMX

This was one of those few times where I've hated all parts of a picture, but liked the whole.

I know, I'm a terrible housesitter. My snooping habit was developed at a young age, back when I wanted to be an archaeologist. I can't help it.

Another thing...

Watch this animation. It may take some time, but watch it. I saw it a couple of years ago at the Uptown and it drove me to tears. I just happened upon it again today and it gave me chills.

What happened yesterday

Just before almost-fainting, she was encouraging me to apply for a job there. I really wanted to then, but now I'm too embarrassed to go back.

My weekend in 9 panels, plus yesterday

I've been wanting to make a comic strip journal since junior high, but it wasn't until I learned that some people actually do it that I decided to try (and Wulf's July 7 bike ride gave me an extra push--it's always easier to do something when your friends are doing it too). Here's to one more thing I can feel jealous of other people for.
