I just watched La Vie en Rose and Marion Collard's performance blew my mind. Do you ever have it where you're watching a movie and you suddenly remember that it's just a movie and it's a little freaky? Yeah...I definitely believed I was in the room with Edith Piaf. I may even go so far as to say it was the best performance I have seen thus far in my life, but that view may be a little biased right now.
Seriously.
Blew me out of the water.

I totally agree with you, the movie is incredible, but her acting...her performance...is mind blowingly fantastic. I also think it is the best performance I have ever seen a person do...just...brilliance.
I guess I should watch that movie, hmm? Fantastic performances make me jealous, but I love them.
